Cargo Commercial Manager
Jazeera Airways is looking for a Cargo Commercial Manager to drive the airlines’ cargo revenue targets and implement the Cargo business plan.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maximise the Cargo revenue targets for Jazeera Airways by optimizing cargo mix, increasing yield, expanding distribution and leveraging Jazeera routes.
- Set-up and manage GSSA and direct sales distribution network wherever necessary to ensure revenue maximization.
- Develop and maintain effective business relationships with GSSAs, Cargo Agents, and trade companies.
- Ensure all contracts/ SLAs are prepared, signed and adhered to with Service Providers to cater for the business needs.
- Regularly monitor the performance of the GSSA and other service providers to ensure that the agreed SLAs are being met.
- Coordinate with various departments (IT/ Network Planning/ Finance/ Cargo Operations, Ground Operations) for Cargo Revenue Accounting, Cargo uplift, automation of Cargo services, invoice management etc.
- Prepare necessary reports and provide inputs to the management to expand Cargo Business.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing or Management
- Minimum 10 years working experience in cargo sales and customer service; previous experience in cargo sales of Low Cost Airlines will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of all IATA regulations, basic cargo operations, airline cargo sales and marketing, DGR.
- Good English Communication Skills, conversational ability in Arabic will be preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Excellent Interpersonal Relationship Skills and Negotiation Skills
- Ability to drive revenue and work under pressure
