Each country has its own set of regulations on the export and import of animals. Export regulations of the origin country, import regulations of the destination and regulations of countries through which the pet will transit or transfer should be followed. These regulations may vary widely, such as:
Where carriage is not subject to the liability rules of the Convention, Jazeera Airways is not responsible for injury to or loss, sickness or death of an animal which we have agreed to carry unless we have been negligent.
Full liability of passengers is assumed regarding compliance to health, safety, animal management, and all conditions and permits mandated by governments, regulations, entry and exit permits, and health certificates of countries plus restrictions of states, regions or relevant authorities. Requests for traveling with pets may be rejected at airport even if the related reservation is confirmed.
In cases of a passenger with an allergy statement and a passenger with a pet request travelling on the same flight, the request of the passenger who made the first reservation will be confirmed.
Passengers must provide the updated imports/export requirements of live animals and make sure all the required documents are available at the time of acceptance. Carriage shall be denied if required documents are not presented during acceptance.
The animal must:
Be clean, healthy, harmless and odorless
Not be pregnant
Not annoy other passengers
Be booked in advance
Animals do not normally require additional feeding for long periods. The accompanying owner is responsible for providing food and water for the animal.
Care shall be taken that food and water containers are not overfilled, to prevent spillage
