Visa Requirements
- Ukraine has exempted entry visas for citizens of Kuwait; however, this applies only to short-term stays of up to 90 days within 180 days.
- Passengers of all nationalities, must have an insurance policy (covering the costs related to the treatment of COVID-19) issued by an insurance company registered in Ukraine. The policy must be valid for the entire period of stay in Ukraine.
- Fully vaccinated travellers are exempt from testing requirements; there's no quarantine for any traveller.
- Test, vaccination and self-isolation are not required for children under 12.
- All travellers to Ukraine aged 12 years or above need to present either of the following:
- A document confirming the receipt of an entire course of vaccination against COVID-19 with vaccines approved by WHO, or
- A negative rapid test for the SARS-CoV-2 antigen (RAT, Ag) performed no more than 72 hours before entry, or
- A certificate of a negative PCR test result performed no more than 72 hours before entry.
Getting around
- Tourists can save a lot on travelling using Kyiv's public transport, as it's the cheapest way to get around the city.
- Fares for buses, trams and trolleybuses operated by the municipality are very reasonable. Tickets can be bought either from a kiosk on the stop or be paid for on-board.
- However, the most reliable way to discover the city is its well-maintained metro system.
