- ProClean to provide cleaning services at all Jazeera Airways facilities including Jazeera Terminal 5

Jazeera Airways, Kuwait’s leading low-cost carrier, signed a new two-year contract with Al Mulla Engineering – Facility Management (ProClean) to provide cleaning services at all its facilities including Jazeera Terminal 5 (T5).

Owned and managed by Jazeera Airways, T5 is aimed at a smoother passenger experience. The Terminal was recently upgraded and includes 24 check-in desks, five boarding gates, transit areas with prayer and changing rooms, food, and beverage options, Duty Free and retail outlets as well as service provider desks. With a 350-vehicle parking building across the road connected to the Terminal by a walking bridge, passengers can easily walk across or transfer luggage, especially during the summer months. The Terminal has only one security check prior to departures, allowing passengers to relax till they board their flight.

The contract was signed in the presence of Naser Al Obaid, Chief Executive Officer, Jazeera Terminal 5, Samy Talat, Director of Maintenance Engineering Services, and Naghma Shahapur, General Manager - Cleaning and Maintenance Services, for Al Mulla Engineering.

Speaking about the contract Al Obaid said: “At Jazeera Airways, we endeavor to partner with Kuwaiti companies for our different business requirements and are pleased to join hands with ProClean as an established local company. We have entrusted them with cleaning services at our facilities and look forward to a long and productive journey together.”

ProClean is accredited with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018, and is currently working on obtaining IRATA accreditation. ProClean undertakes short and long-term cleaning and maintenance projects using advanced machines and the latest cleaning technologies. The company also provides specialized services like marble polishing, window cleaning for high floors, pressure washing, upholstery and carpet cleaning.
