Falcons

In order for us to assist you and your pet falcon on your travel, we have placed set of rules to follow which are mentioned below:

1. Jazeera Airways staff will check to ensure that all required documents are provided by the passenger at the time of acceptance. Carriage shall be denied if required documents are not presented during acceptance.
2. The animal must:
   1. Be clean healthy, harmless, and odourless
   2. Not be pregnant
   3. Not annoy the passengers
3. Falcons should be accompanied with valid health certificates and entry permits known as Falcon Passport required by the countries of entry or transit, if applicable.
4. The accompanying owner/handler is responsible for providing food and water for the animal. Care shall be taken in safeguarding that food and water containers are not overfilled in order to prevent spillage in the cabin.
5. A maximum of 5 falcons in the cabin can be accepted for carriage by an individual handler (1 falcon on the arm of the handler and 2 falcons per empty seat).
6. A chain or cord must be attached to the leg of the falcon, the other end of the chain or cord must be securely fixed to the handler or on the aircraft seat in order to inhibit the ability of the bird to fly while in cabin. The falcons can be also secured to a perch which will be placed on the seat and the perch itself secured by cord to the aircraft seat. All perches should be carried and used by the handler. Any perches carried and used by the handlers must not be allowed to block the path of the aircraft in the event of an emergency.

8. Falcons may be refused carriage in the cabin if it poses threat to other passengers and cannot be brought under control or is a safety hazard to be in the aircraft passenger cabin.

Baby Falcons

1. The cage with defined dimensions to fit the seat to be used is 48 cm X 58 cm X 70 cm to be provided by the passenger.
2. There is no limit to the number of baby falcons provided that they are in cages. Baby falcons should be completely inside the cage including its head and tail during the whole flight. The cage must be closed at all times.
3. Maximum 2 cages per passenger.

Seeing Eye Dogs

Only a trained service dog (Seeing Eye) may accompany an individual passenger with hearing and or visual disability. No other service animal is permitted in the passenger cabin at this time. General conditions of acceptance are as follow:

1. The Seeing Eye dog shall not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the cabin.
2. Seeing Eye dogs are accepted free of charge regardless of weight and size.
3. It shall not pose any threat of disruption in the cabin during the whole flight.
4. It must be harnessed or otherwise restrained.
5. It is not allowed to roam around the cabin
6. The Seeing Eye dog may be refused carriage in the cabin if it poses threat to other passengers and cannot be brought under control by its handler
