Business Analyst – Commercial Applications Systems

 

We are looking for a Business Analyst – Commercial Applications Systems to lead the product management, implementation, and optimization of multiple commercial business applications. This role will focus on enhancing system capabilities, driving automation, and ensuring seamless user experiences for both B2B and B2C customers. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technology, working closely with stakeholders to align commercial application functionalities with business goals.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap
    • Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for commercial applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
    • Continuously assess and enhance system capabilities to improve efficiency and user experience.
    • Gather market insights, competitor analysis, and user feedback to drive innovation and system improvements.
  • System Implementation & Custodianship
    • Oversee the customization and deployment of commercial applications with core alignment to Passenger Service System (PSS).
    • Ensure applications are scalable, secure, and integrated with key platforms (CRM, website, e-commerce).
    • Collaborate with IT and Digital Transformation teams for seamless technical execution.
    • Manage system testing, deployment, and user training to ensure smooth adoption.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Business Alignment
    • Act as the primary liaison between business teams (Sales, Finance, Operations) and technical teams to translate business needs into system capabilities.
    • Conduct regular stakeholder meetings to gather requirements, track progress, and prioritize system enhancements.
    • Work closely with Sales & Marketing teams to enhance B2B/B2C customer experiences through digital tools.
  • Operational Excellence & Automation
    • Optimize business application workflows, eliminating manual processes and increasing automation.
    • Define and document end-to-end processes from inquiries to booking confirmations, payments, and post-booking support.
    • Identify pain points, analyze system performance, and implement improvements.
  • Customer-Centric Product Development
    • Ensure commercial applications deliver a seamless, user-friendly experience for both B2B agents and direct customers.
    • Develop features and self-service tools to simplify inquiries, pricing requests, and bulk booking management.
    • Leverage customer feedback and data analytics to continuously enhance system usability.
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting
    • Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure system efficiency, conversion rates, and user satisfaction.
    • Generate data-driven insights to support strategic decisions and optimize application performance.
    • Provide regular performance reports to senior management, identifying areas for improvement.


Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Aviation Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in system implementation, or a related role in the aviation industry.
  • Proven experience with low-cost airlines and Navitaire systems is mandatory.
  • Expertise in airline reservation systems, system customization, and API integrations.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in automating workflows and data-driven decision-making.
