Assistant Manager - Core Ancillary Products

 

Jazeera Airways is seeking a highly dynamic and self-motivated individual to join the Ancillary Revenue team as an Assistant Manager for Core Ancillary Products. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the revenue and day-to-day operations of existing fee-based ancillary products (baggage, seats, lounges, upgrades, etc.) and helping develop new products to meet revenue targets.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Identify new opportunities for ancillary revenue streams by tracking market trends, benchmarking competitor offers, and exploring unique service innovations.
  • Conceptualize and implement new products and services to drive revenue growth. Lead the integration of these products across all sales channels.
  • Own the product lifecycle, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to manage the end-to-end process from concept to go-live. Plan, execute, and oversee UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to ensure product quality and performance across all platforms.
  • Continuously refine product content (offerings, terms & conditions) and optimize fee structures based on market competition and customer demand.
  • Monitor and analyze the attach rate of ancillary products with air-ticket sales on a daily and monthly basis. Devise strategies to increase attachment rates across different routes and customer segments.
  • Organize marketing and promotional campaigns for ancillary products targeting consumers, trade partners, contact center teams, and airport staff.
  • Collaborate with the in-house configuration team to manage settings and updates for ancillary products.
  • Lead project management efforts for ancillary product initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and providing comprehensive product documentation for stakeholders.


Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in managing e-commerce or ancillary products in airlines, online travel agencies, or travel technology companies.
  • In-depth understanding of Passenger Service Systems (PSS) and familiarity with New Skies, Navitaire's APO, and PSS configurations.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to analyze large datasets.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing fundamentals and relevant tools (knowledge of Tableau or Power BI is a plus).
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills for working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
